I mainly listen to jazz music streamed in HD with Amazon Music from my MI 9 Lite smartphone and a Moondrop Dawn2 Pro USB DAC. I swapped the original cable for a balanced cable. Nothing special, but it's fine for me. That said, the sound was already good right away, even if a little muddy. Now, after some running-in, it's steadily improving. The spatiality is excellent, as is the distinction between instruments. Very fast piano pieces, like Hiromi's, are reproduced with excellent detail. I've adjusted the EQ a little on some frequencies, but really very little. Listening without EQ is still very pleasant. I have several other headphones, including the Beyerdynamic DT880 600 Ohm, the Monoprice M1060C (closed-back and with an open-back version), and the Fostex T50RP with Dekoni pads, but the Ananda beats them all. I'm truly satisfied, especially considering the very reasonable price. Next step: Arya or 1000? We'll see, but for now, I'm appreciating the Ananda Stealth.
